For my final project I wanted to get away from a really conceptual idea and instead make 
something that I thought would be enjoyable to watch and incorporate a hobby I enjoy doing in 
my spare time. My original inspiration came from a stop motion video I saw where the artists set 
up a camera over their bed and proceeded to do gravity defying actions in a dream like world. I 
took this same idea and combined it with skateboarding as a way to showcase an activity I enjoy, 
will doing tricks and flips I would never be able to land in real life. I liked this idea of leaving the 
camera in a stationary position and using random objects to progress the video instead of using 
the camera itself to show progression. At first, I used my storyboard to start this project off, but 
during my shoots I found myself just coming up with new ideas on the spot that I thought would 
add to the visual experience of the video. I decided to stick with this in the moment creativity for 
the remainder of my project.
